The Triplets of Belleville – ****

I was very entertained by this French animated film. It is truly a work of art considering the story is told with practically no dialogue. The film works with its imagery and the quirky details in each scene. It tells the story of a boy, his grandmother, his dog, and his heart’s desire: riding bicycles. I especially liked Bruno the dog; I got a kick out of his scenes (and his thing for trains).
