Daniel’s teacher is retiring after 33 years. He is quoted twice in an article about her in the Sunday Magazine of the Belleville News Democrat.

Born on Feb 10 at 8:13 AM. Congratulations to Avigail and Steve! She’s beautiful! Lots of love from all of us here in the Midwest.

holiday recap
It was nice to have a bit of a break in NC. Always nice to spend time with family over the holidays. Unfortunately, my mother-in-law had to work each day (except Christmas, of course). The kids are growing up fast. D, the youngest of the 3, is now the tallest. They were pretty good this year and were pretty much occupied by movies and video games. It was unusually warm while we were there (70′s). At one point in time, we had the windows open on Christmas Eve!
We returned home after an all-day drive the day after Christmas. And on Wednesday, it was back to work. Now that it’s another long weekend, I hope to catch up on some things. I will be posting pics as soon as I get the chance.
Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday!
holi-daze
I’m sorry I have not blogged in a while. Too much going on at work and at home. Tonight, we head on out to visit the in-laws for Christmas. I hope to blog more once we get settled into relaxation mode.
“fried” day
TGIF. I’m beat, and my brain is fried. My work week is getting to be as unpredictable as the weather here in the Midwest.
birthday greetings
Happy Birthday, Daniel! Since your birthday falls within a week of Halloween, I want you to check this out.
birthday greetings
I just want to wish my cousin Ren a “Happy Birthday”. He is currently halfway round the world in Laos.
Happy Birthday, JR!
birthday celebration
Lola Naty celebrates her 90th birthday with her family.

Thanks, Dad, for the pics – wish I could’ve been there
90 years
My grandmother turns 90 today! She is currently visiting from the Philippines and is celebrating with the entire family in NJ (minus me and a few others). I got to talk to her on the phone today (stupid me, I forgot to call; thanks again, Dad). She sounds healthy and her spirit is as strong as ever.
Happy Birthday, Lola!
ten years gone
Thanks to my cousin Jeff for introducing me to chatting online a decade ago. If it weren’t for him, I wouldn’t have been hanging out in chat rooms on America Online, signed in as “Tenyrsgon“. I wouldn’t have been in a particular room called “Friends First”, saying hello to all incoming chatters like a professional Walmart greeter. Most importantly, I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to meet someone on this very day 10 years ago. Someone who everyone referred to as “CL”.
rest in peace, Tito Teddy
Today is the day they lay my uncle to rest. I am sorry that we cannot be there to lend our support.
Tita Volet, Bong, and Jeffrey – our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
Love,
Neil, Christine, Daniel, and Salem
